Admin assigns a new key to an employee using Genea’s intuitive dashboard.
The employee receives an email directing them to download the Genea Security app and verify their identity.
The employee can now use their smartphone as a keycard to open all access doors.
Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is a wireless technology developed as a power efficient, low-cost protocol for data transfer. BLE is battery operated and transmits data at about 1 MB. It has a maximum range of 30 meters.
Near-field communication (NFC) is a subset of radio frequency identification (RFID). NFC receives power from the door reader in order to send credential information. Data transmits at about 1 MB per second with a maximum range of 30 meters.
